Dr. Yvette McCauley was raised in a Christian household and learned to appreciate diversity at an early age. As a parent, you have the amazing responsibility of raising your children — training them up in the way they should go (Proverbs 22:6).
Her rich and varied experience in PreK-12 education includes curriculum design, instructional design, program development, program assessment and evaluation, technology integration, personalized professional development for educators, school improvement, fiscal management, and community engagement. She has provided countless students and individuals with access to educational services, tools, supplementary aids, and other supports, that are provided in traditional and non-traditional education-related settings, to enable children with and without disabilities to be educated to the maximum extent appropriate.
Along the way, Dr. McCauley has worked with local and national programs, helping school aged youths expand their vistas and access to academic and cultural resources in their respective communities. She has also been a beacon in collaborating with various school districts in ensuring their after-school programs met the student’s needs; getting students excited about learning; and motivating students in school by demonstrating that the skills they learn during the school day will help them to succeed in the future.
Dr. McCauley’s mission is to accelerate academic achievement for all students through a technical and college-preparatory culture and curriculum with a focus on preparing scholars to become bold inquirers, problem solvers, and ethical leaders. Dr. McCauley completed her undergraduate studies at Davenport University earning a B.A.S. in Business with an emphasis in Human Resource Management, and holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, with a concentration in Instructional Technology.
